Refund and License Activation Fee Refund Policy – PSY-Record

Last Updated: October 11, 2026

  1. Introduction

This policy outlines the terms and procedures governing refund requests for PSY-Record license Activation fees, including cases involving activation, technical issues, and changes to device components.

Please read this policy carefully before paying the license fee. The activation system is designed to associate the license with a specific device according to the verification mechanism implemented in the program.

This policy is subject to applicable consumer rights and legal requirements.

  1. Program and License Activation Process

PSY-Record is a digital program that requires license activation using an activation code issued based on the request code file generated for the device on which the program is to be activated.

The activation process consists of the following steps:

  1. Completing the license activation request form and attaching the device’s request code file.
  2. Review of the request and its details by technical support.
  3. Providing the user with instructions for paying the activation fee.
  4. Issuing the activation code after the request requirements have been met and payment has been confirmed.
  5. Using the activation code to activate the program on the device specified in the request.

The user must ensure that the request information is accurate and that the intended device has been correctly identified before completing the payment.

  1. System Requirements and Compatibility

Users are responsible for reviewing the published PSY-Record system requirements and ensuring that their devices meet these requirements before requesting activation.

The program installation package includes Microsoft Access Runtime components in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. This allows users to choose the appropriate version when needed, depending on their device configuration and the Office environment installed on their system.

Users must select the appropriate runtime components and ensure that they are compatible with their system environment.

If an issue arises because the published system requirements have not been met or because of conflicts within the program environment installed on the device, technical support will review the case and determine a possible solution. Such circumstances do not automatically entitle the user to a refund, subject to the user’s applicable legal rights.

  1. License Association with Device Components

The PSY-Record licensing system verifies specific device components to identify the device associated with the license.

  • Reinstalling the Operating System

Reinstalling the Windows operating system, by itself, does not require the purchase of a new activation code, provided that the device components used by the licensing system have not changed in a way that affects activation validity.

  • Changing Device Components

Changing or replacing certain device components used by the licensing system may alter the device identification data, thereby affecting license validity.

In such cases, activating the program license on the device after the change requires the purchase of a new license activation code, in accordance with the licensing mechanism implemented in PSY-Record.

Loss of activation validity resulting from such changes does not automatically entitle the user to a refund of the previous license fee or to a new activation code free of charge, subject to any applicable legal rights.

Users are advised to contact technical support before making significant changes to their device components to inquire about the potential impact on license validity.

  1. License Activation Fee Refund Requests

All refund requests are reviewed individually, taking into account the reason for the request, the activation stage, the license status, the possibility of resolving the issue, and applicable legal requirements.

Changing one’s mind, no longer needing the program after purchase, or choosing not to use the program does not automatically entitle the user to a refund, subject to any legal rights applicable to the case.

The issuance of an activation code does not automatically result in the rejection of a refund request. The reason for the request and whether the program or license was provided in accordance with the published terms and specifications must be considered.

  • Requests Submitted Before the Activation Code Is Issued

If the user has paid the activation fee but the activation code has not yet been issued, the user may contact technical support to request a review of the order status.

Refund eligibility will be determined based on the stage of request processing, whether the agreed service has been provided, and any relevant costs or obligations, subject to the user’s applicable legal rights.

  • Requests Submitted After the Activation Code Is Issued

After the activation code has been issued, refund requests will be reviewed based on the reason for the request, the license status, and whether an actual issue exists with the validity of the code or the operation of the program in accordance with its published specifications.

A change of mind or a decision not to continue using the program does not automatically entitle the user to a refund. However, the issuance of an activation code does not prevent the user from exercising applicable legal rights if a defect requiring a remedy or refund is established.

  1. Activation Code Issues

If the user encounters a problem with the activation code or is unable to run the program after activation, the user must contact official technical support before submitting a final refund claim.

Users are requested to provide the information necessary to investigate the issue, such as:

  • The original request code file.
  • The activation code issued to the user.
  • A clear description of the problem.
  • An error message or screenshot, if available.
  • Relevant technical information reasonably requested by technical support.

Technical support will review the information and verify the activation code’s validity, as well as whether the issue is related to the licensing mechanism or the device environment.

If the issue is confirmed to result from an error in the activation code or a licensing system defect attributable to PSY-Record, reasonable efforts will be made to correct the issue or provide a replacement code, where appropriate.

If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable period, a refund or any other applicable remedy will be considered based on the circumstances of the case and applicable legal requirements.

A refund request will not be rejected solely because the user was unable to run the program, nor will it be automatically approved without investigating the cause of the issue where verification is possible.

  1. Unsubstantiated Claims and Misuse of the Licensing System

PSY-Record reserves the right to review refund requests containing inconsistent information or reasonable indications of licensing system misuse or the intentional provision of false information.

Technical support may request additional reasonable information to verify the reported issue, provided that such information is directly relevant to the request.

Decisions will be based on the available evidence and information. Submitting a refund request or reporting a problem does not, by itself, constitute evidence of fraud or misuse.

If misuse or the intentional provision of misleading information is established, appropriate action may be taken as permitted by applicable law and the license terms, without prejudice to the user’s legal rights.

  1. How to Submit a Refund Request

To submit a refund request, users must contact technical support through the official email address published on the PSY-Record website.

Please include the following information:

  1. Activation request details.
  2. Proof of payment of the license fee.
  3. A clear explanation of the reason for the refund request.
  4. The activation code or request code file, where relevant to the issue.
  5. Available error messages or technical evidence, if any.

Technical support will review the request and inform the user of the outcome and the proposed action.

Additional information may be required in some cases before a final decision can be made.

  1. Refund Processing

If a refund is determined to be due, the user will be informed of the applicable procedure and the method of reimbursement, taking into account the payment method used, available procedures, and applicable legal requirements.

This policy is not intended to permit the retention of fees for a license that has not been provided as agreed, or to exclude any legal right to a refund or compensation.

  1. Contacting Technical Support

For inquiries concerning activation, license validity, or refund requests, please contact technical support through the official email address published on the PSY-Record website.

Users are encouraged to retain proof of payment and correspondence relating to their activation requests to facilitate the review process.

  1. Policy Amendments

This policy may be updated as necessary, subject to applicable legal requirements. The rights and obligations associated with each purchase will be determined by the terms applicable at the time of the transaction, unless otherwise required by law.

  1. Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy shall be interpreted as excluding or limiting any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable legal requirement shall prevail.
